Farmington Hills, Mich.-based Friedman Integrated Real Estate Solutions recently began its celebration of its 25th year in business.
The celebration will provide the company?s 250 team members, clients and other stakeholders with the opportunity to reflect on the firm?s most important milestones.
From its humble beginnings in 1987 as an emerging commercial brokerage, property management and construction company, the Friedman organization has evolved into one of the nation?s premier vertically-integrated real estate companies with more than 16 million square feet of commercial properties and 7,000 multi-family residential units under management. Friedman?s dynamic brokerage group currently has more than 800 listings with $10 billion in closed transactions.
Today, Friedman has expanded its reach from Michigan to include operations in Ohio, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, Arizona and Nevada.
The company?s service lines encompass commercial brokerage; property and asset management; investment and loan sale advisory; turnaround management and receivership; space planning and design, and construction and project management.
In recent years, Friedman?s multi-disciplinary team has continued to add complementary advisory services. Earlier this year, the company?s Investment and Loan Sale Advisory Division facilitated the nation?s largest multi-family auction, which resulted in the $160 million sale of 13 multi-family properties in four states with more than 3,000 units.
?The world of real estate has experienced dramatic shifts and new technologies since our inception 25 years ago,? said David Friedman, founder, president and chief executive officer of the company. ?While many things have changed, success in the commercial real estate business is built on relationships and trust. This is a people business and I am extremely proud of our team. They represent some of the most creative and talented professionals in the industry; and they are the cornerstone of the phenomenal growth we have experienced.?
